    Redfoots

Morning! Are flood lights good for redfoots? I’m swapping the basking lights for my African species, and wondered if the redfoots would benefit from these too? TIA.

    Hi

Thank you! I love them all so much. They’re perfect in my eyes, even if their shells are not in the best shape xx

    Hi

Thanks! They’re all rescues and am loving trying to improve their quality of life. Am not sure my hybrid will do well, she’s tiny. She recently had her annual and the vet said there’s nothing wrong with her, but I worry as she should be heavier, I wonder if she’s one of those “failing to thrive”...

    Hi

I have leopards, a sulcata, a sulcata cross leopard and a redfoot. Getting a pancake in November and an Indian star is next on the wish list. Put my AST there too because I find her magnificent!

    Hi from Worcestershire uk

Hi! I’m in the U.K. too. Personally, whenever I try something new, I won’t keep the change if it isn’t working. So I’d ditch the bark if I was you. Are you spraying the enclosure? I have to mist mine if I want to keep the humidity level high.

    Hi

Morning all. Newbie here. To the forum, not torts. I seem to have an (according to my husband) unhealthy addiction to them. Looking forwards to learning as much as I can to be a better keeper.

My tortoise ... hates, loves, unhappy, lonely... some part of it's life.

This! Especially when they put them up for rehome, and say “you need to have done your research, this breed does not hibernate” Hmmm, had you done yours, you’d get the irony… And people that get annoyed because someone called their tort a turtle.
