    I already spent $350 on all the required lighting, substrate, hide place, water bowl etc..tortoise was purchased at Vivarium in Berkeley Ca…the substrate is not good, was pine shavings

    he’s in a 55 gallon tank, soak him every few daze, just bought fresh wheat grass, which he loves… he is a voracious eater, running out of ideas what to feed him and how often… thanks everyone

    I, too, just got a young Sulcata…this past May..it was very small, now has doubled in size…it’s in 55 gallon tank with all correct lighting, small dish water and 2 temperature gauges… I should put dark tape around tank, us this helpful?? So much conflicting info..feed fresh greens along with dry...
