I have knock out roses in my backyard with my sulcata. He keeps them trimmed down through out the summer.

It's not something I feed to him on a daily basis. It's just an extra I give maybe a few times a month. He has half an acre to roam freely where he grazes on grasses and dandelions all day. Poison plant and chemical free enclosure.

Guess it really doesn't matter. My sulcata seems to like it.

Just bought a new container of Mazuri tortoise diet and looks like rabbit food now. What happened to the dog food looking nuggets?

I've noticed my sulcata doing the same thing. He used graze all day non-stop. Since the heat jumped up to 90-95 here in texas his appetite has dropped. He even passed up an apple yesterday.

Is there a mosquito yard spray or something that is safe to use around tortoises. The mosquito's are horrible right now.
