I am not sure if that is what righty has, but afyer looking thorough those pictures it definitely looks like what lefty has and one of the symptoms was swelling of arms and legs so that could explain the others even though they dont have the bumps.

It seems like I am posting here almost weekly with new problems. Not sure what I could be doing wrong to cause so many different problems. Big guys has a massive back leg, lefty has growths on his neck, and now righty’s legs are swelling and the flesh thats swelling is extremely soft...
Update from Dr. Greek. He said he wasnt sure what was causing the swelling in big guys leg (did an xray and there was no signs of breakage) he said it could either be trauma or an infection and to monitor it and try massaging it daily.

Today I noticed lefty was laying around with his head out when it usually is retracted into his shell. Upon closer inspection he seems to have hard clumps of skin on the inside of his neck (pictures attached) with one piece peeling off closest to his head. Please help with what this...
yeah both said 100% coco coir substrate, no additives. I bought the one labelled as planting to see if the rocks were just a reptile thing. Just strange that the exact same mineral stones came in both.
@Tom @Yvonne G @TammyJ Update for everyone. I ordered new coco coir bricks, this time a different brand (not a reptile company) and cleaned out the enclosure and replaced all the substrate. It seems that this coco coir too has these mineral like granular specs and rocks throughout it...
Yeah I am confused as well. I hope they are from the substrate and the torts arent trying to pass these. I will bring them to Dr Greek next week when I have him look at big guys swollen leg and see if he has any thoughts.
Zoomed coco coir bricks from Petco, the smaller granular ones make sense that it comes like that but the bigger ones are what confused me since they seem to “pop up” just sitting on the surface when I keep it really compressed.

I keep noticing and removing clear white crystal looking “rocks” from my enclosure and dont know what is causing them if they are coming out of the hatchlings. I have attached pictures of them for reference. They are all the same opaque clear material, some are just dirtier than others...
I see what you mean in the picture but after giving him a warm soak and looking again I dont see the string anymore. I have attached some more pictures. Any other thoughts to what it might be?
