    2 male Russian tortoises

No, they would not enjoy that at all. And the condition some of my packages arrive on my doorstep doesn’t give me confidence in their safety traveling through the Mail. I’m in no hurry for them to move out. They’re perfectly happy here.

    2 male Russian tortoises

No, I don’t think they would like that at all. One is already pretty grouchy. 😂

    2 male Russian tortoises

Yes, I am aware. They have their own enclosures. I’m in no hurry to rehome. They were both rescues and I’ve had them for a few years. I’m just making them available if anyone is interested.

    2 male Russian tortoises

I actually have 2 male Russians that I am willing to have adopted if anyone needs one. They are both older, and rescues, so I don’t know the exact age. One very much wants a female. I’m in Orange County.

    Water turtle compatibility advice

Thank you so much for all the information. Dragon is definitely a male. I am not interested in breeding him because there are already so many abandoned RES in my area. Our neighborhood library pond is full of abandoned and discarded sliders of all ages and sizes. It’s very sad. I will...

    Water turtle compatibility advice

Hello. I found this site last week and my goodness I’ve learned so much already. I have 3 tortoises and 1 Red Eared Slider. Yes. I bought him on a whim when he was the size of a quarter, but I absolutely adore him and he turns 6 on Valentine’s Day. He’s called Dragon. He’s happy and healthy...

    Small Outdoor Water Turtles Habitat

My red earned slider drives me crazy eating all the aquatic plants in his tank. I keep putting them in. He keeps eating them. I’m going to try the hornwort. Thanks!

Hello, nice to meet you all.

Ok, well I’m in So Cal (garden zone 10b!) and my other little Russian is awake. I’ve attached photos. Now that I look at him, after reading so many articles, my best guess is male Russian. What do we think?

Hello from Steve the Russian tortoise

I actually have 3 torts but all 3 were adults when I got them. I think I have 2 male Russians and 1 female desert tortoise. I’d love to get a baby female Russian.

Hello from Steve the Russian tortoise

Steve is fantastic! I’ve been thinking about getting a hatchling and have also been reading all the articles. So much information. Great, just so much. I’m going to bookmark this thread so I can refer to your setup if I get brave enough to get a baby. I was also looking at TortStork. Obviously...
