My tort is very hydrated.. he’s been getting cucumber for hydration, and I spray his lettuce every day.
He cannot get soaked due to a recent bladder stone surgery.
He still passes chalky urates and I’m confused because I’ve been doing EVERYTHING to keep him hydrated.
Any idea what’s going on?

My tort had a plastronomy recently, he’s doing well, however ever time he gets his antibiotic (every 72 hours) he seems not to be as interested in food and more lethargic. I’m assuming it upsets his stomach, or doesn’t make him feel too good.

So my tortoise is going to get a bladder stone removed in 2 weeks. It is quite large, and I’ve been feeding him zero/low oxalate greens. I’ve been bathing him every single day for hydration, and he has been passing a LOT of urates. (pictures below, some include poop sorry!)

All other illness such as RI are ruled out. Went to vet and he was cleared, had good muscle tone, strong shell, etc.
