I have a 1 year old russian ( hes tiny though)
I considered leaving at home with everything off as am concerned of accidents with the bulbs
My main reason for looking at boarding is he can occasionally flip...
Hi, twiglet has been looking well, active eating and enjoying time outside:
This morning I noticed his tail was swollen and urates almost blocking it, I bathed him and eventually he pushed it out, I could see him straining.

I can’t believe am back with twigs again, his eyes shut a month or so ago and did start to open, however past few weeks hes closed them again even to eat.
Hes eating and drinking well I just have to hold food still! I included grated carrot weekly now to make sure its not vitamin A deficiency...
My tortoise twiglet is around 9 months, his basking bulb blew lasy week so was without a bulb for a day as the local pet shop has shut down due to a fire.
He started moving less then walking around with his eyes shut. He has now stopped eating.
I am bathing him to encourage him to drink however...
