This is what I found when I did a bit of research. It's pretty bad. Apparently they advertise it as 'family friendly' because the don't TRY to kill the turtles, the majority of the turtles do end up dying from stress and/ or injury.
Every year the school down the road has a huge May Day parade, there's normally buckets of flowers all around the soccer field.
I'd bought my Mom a bunch of "unusual" bulbs last year, some that I was really excited to see were the peony tulips, they were these huge magnificent flowers, some...
What type of substrate though? Sand, wood chips, coco husks, cypress mulch, sphagnum moss? If people know exactly what the enclosure is like it makes helping way easier.
I have some pictures, I'll try to post them later. He's getting released back to his flock today, most of the marinade is off. I take care of the bird rescue when the lady who's in charge takes birds to other rescues, she says he will molt before migrating so trying to bath him again isn't worth it.
I have a friend who's teacup pig gained 200 pounds and developed tusks. You really have to check out the breeders thoroughly. There's some that are legit, but many more that are just starving piglets and saying their miniature.
Not easily, he's about the size of a grape which makes it really difficult.[hr]
Yupp a gold finch. If he were a turkey he'd be easier to bath.[hr]
He's staying under heat lamps, and completely gorging himself on dandelion seeds. He's cute now that he's less like a grease ball.
I came home today to a marinade soaked American goldfinch hatchling.
My Dad is a very burly contractor, he went into the house to get something to drink. In the window was an adult American goldfinch, being a good person, he caught it out of the corner window and let it out the open window...
He looks just like Walter, I'd guess hermann's too. Congratulations! He's lucky to have you. I gave Walter baths every day when I first got him, it doesn't make the pyramiding go away, but it becomes way less noticeable.
I'm honestly surprised. I just had to get up and turn off Walters heaters... What on earth Canada!?
Luckily by some stroke of luck I'm at the island house all weekend so I get to spend it on the beach, Walter even gets a snazzy house that my bunny lived in when I was little. It's about 3' by...
Hi from BC! You'll probably need some heat at night, especially if you get a baby. Walter lives in a mix of sphagnum moss and coco coir which holds more humidity then anything else I've tried. A MVB is the best, you just need to have an adjustable light stand so you can get the temperature...
