Does anyone know where to find plastic stripping to cover a doghouse door? tried lowes,all they sold was dog doors for stupid high prices.
Is there anything else I can use like carpet cut in strips?
Also,I dont know weather to just use a ceramic heat bulb,or to go out and buy a kane heating...
Just wanted to know if thats an ok night temp? Our phoenix nights are starting to get cooler,I dont have the heater set up yet(this weekends job).
Sulcata station says 60 is ok.

I was curious,the new sulcata I adopted has pyramiding.Now that she is out in the sun,eating grasses,getting exercise water ect. ,as she grows will it "fill in"?
Shes only about 8 pounds so she has alot of growth yet.
I know it doesnt go away.....but Im not sure if they will just look alot...
My new tort has me worried a bit. I have had her a week,shes been doing fine outside,but doesnt really seem to like coming out of her hiding spot of her enclosure,unless I have food for her.
If I coax her out shes fine,Even when shes in her hiding spot,during the day shes alert with her head up...
Any tips for the big heat in the coming months?
I have shady spots in the enclosure,and hiding spots.
And a terrecotta(sp) dish with water.
Its gonna pretty much be in the 100's+ for the next 3 months,just want to make sure my tort isnt miserable,or do you find your torts love the phoenix...
Well,I thought I was going to have to pick between 2.There was only one tort left,the 10".(maybe female ,time will tell)
She(no name yet) was put in her enclosure outside and began grazing on the grass for about an hour. She then decided to take a bath in the teracota pan,and follow me around...
Hi, I attatched pics of 2 sulcata,a 10inch and an 8 inch.
Both have very short tails,and flat plastrons.
I guess the 8 inch would be too young ,but still looks like a male to me,the 10" is the one I am interested in,and looks like a female to me.
What do you guys think???

Hi, I have a yearling who probably wont be ready to go outside for a year or two,shes about 4 inches.
I have the oppurtunity to adopt a second sulcata about 10 inches.
I live in phoenix and have a enclosure already built outside in our yard,with a house and everything.
