so my boyfriend and i have 3 baby yellow belly cooters, and we are doing our searching before we purchase some tortoises as well. he wanted to adopt one instead but that doesn't seem very feasible.
i think that's alot myself considering you can get one for $100 from any local rep show. :/ it doesn't really encourage adoption to pay more for an unwanted animal, than it does to get a new one.
