Just curious if you know their shell length. I think "Tom" ended up being the smaller of the males I saw from the 2010 bunch. It seems to be a bigger spectrum of adult size on the SA males vs SA females.
I’m trying a new technique at “room temperature” (75 degrees) for the first 6 weeks or so instead of the wine cooler method. I can’t leave them in the ground because of our high moisture content in the soil down in Louisiana, along with other factors like fire ants and a high water table.

Here are some recent pictures of my two younger males from Rodriguez Chelonians. They have really settled in to life outside full time and are starting to pick up the pace with growth again.

I have thousands of pictures saved from various wild locals. I can promise you I’ve looked at more high def photos of wild leopards of all stages of life than likely anyone else in this forum. I semi obsess over it.
I just think it’s a far stretch to see one photo from a not so good angle, and...
How do you know it’s 100%? Do you know the parent group?
I did not rule out that it’s pure. I’m saying based on the large amount of babies (both mixed and pure) I’ve seen over the years that it appears to be mixed.
The higher dome shell for one. The vast majority of pure babies have a much...
