My friends russian torts house fell on him and cracked a tiny teeny piece of his shell. We took him to the vet and them gave him some meds(pain killers), glued his shell a little and put some type of band aid on it. The crack is about a centimeter. My friend wants to know if she should take him...

thank you, I don't mind if its a pool or not i was just trying to find a reasonably priced big outdoor enclosure. i think im just going to build a wooden one using Mike and Lynne's ideas. i just want to make the cheapest safest enclosure thats best for my torts

how would it be hard to take care of? and i dont think no sun will be a problem i think it will be over them most of the day... hello everyone! i'm kinda new to the forum and i need some help deciding what to do about an outdoor enclosure for my russian torts. what i was thinking was a intex 56998eg 10' by 30" metal frame pool filled with dirt. I just wanted to see if them could dig through the bottom. thank u!!

ya im a newbie too its nice to know its not bad my torts don't go in hides or dig. I may not get a light cuz im going to keep them outside full time. But if i do it will be saturday at repticon. Yes my substrate is top soil i think it doesnt have any fertilizers in it so...
