Which is the ideal way to most accurately setup this heatpad/thermostat combo. The thermos temp gauge probe doesn't adhere to anything. The heat pad does not evenly distribute the heat on the top or sides. Here near the beach it doesn't usually get too cold at night to warrant a large heater...
