    Flies in enclosure...

I think it is fruit flies, they definitely aren't as big as regular flies..they're pretty tiny. Would that harm the torts though? I have a wooden tort table so I can't really wash it but I can pick up all of the old substrate and vacuum the smaller stuff.. Also, I found a smaller looking...

    Flies in enclosure...

Hey, a while back I noticed there were flies in my tort table, so I changed their substrate and things seemed fine. But as of yesterday I've noticed the flies are back. There are a lot. The substrate I'm using is cypress mulch and I feed them different lettuces, and hays. They have a humid box...

my two little ones have proper lighting, and get soaked daily, but they look dry....

Thanks! Yeah, they are about to go out for some sunshine in a few.. I've heard that some people put a sponge on top of the humid box, to help keep it moist. How moist is moist enough? I mean, half a gallon for that little area? I'll try it for sure.

Anyone have a 2 story enclosure?

I'm thinking about making one for my sullies. The room they have is good, but they could always use more room. I want to see some pics of 2 story enclosures to get some inspiration! Thanks! -c

Yeah, I got rid of the coil bulbs.. the substrate isn't as big as it looks in the picture, but I am going to the store and get a bag of cypress mulch tomorrow. I'm not making this hard, I'm just trying to give the best for my babies...

Sluggish, Not Eating, Won't Open Eyes

I had the same situation as you about 2 months ago, and it ended sadly. My little one wasn't growing, and he didn't eat for a long time, was always sluggish, his eyes were shut, and his shell was soft. I scheduled an appointment with the vet, and 200 $ later they gave me a food supplement that...
