For those of you who have tried feeding RED Toroise Sticks to your tortoises, what feedbacks can you give?Did you get any good results? If yes, what were they?
Thanks.
Are carrots good for Sulcata tortoises? If yes, what benefits do they get from carrots and how often in a week can they be safely fed to Sulcata tortoises?Would feeding carrots 2 times a week be okay? And lastly, between carrots and squash, what is better for Sulcata tortoises?
Thanks.
I guess, the best thing to do is wait for the feedbacks of those who ordered this new tortoise food.If the feedbacks are positive, then order some and test the tortoise food for your selves. If the feedbacks are negative, then don't bother ordering this tortoise food anymore.
My Sulcata gets teary eyed everytime he is under the noontime sun.Does this this mean that he has a respiratory infection or is there something else to worry about?By the way,I live here in the Philippines where the sun rays here deliver more heat than that in the U.S.A..
Thanks.
I get my Mazuri from spikethebest and coastal(Coastal Silkworms)and have them ship the Mazuri here to me in the Philippines. Both of these vendors are highly recommended.
If I may, when you say toxic, does it mean that as soon as a tortoise eats a toxic plant, the toxicity takes effect immediately that the toroise dies right awy?Or it would take some time before it dies?Meaning that the tortoise has to eat several of them over time before the toxicity takes effect...
Would it be okay to feed Pumpkin and squash leaves together with it's flowers often(4 times a week) mixed with grasses and other greens to a Sulcata tortoise without causing any health problems?
Thanks.
What is your take on using Mazuri as a staple diet for Sulcatas?I mean, feeding it 50 % everyday together with 50 % grasses and vegetable greens?
Thanks.
Are squash or pumpkin leaves good for tortoises, specifically Sulcatas?Could these leaves be fed to them without harm?Do they get any benefits by eating them?If yes, what are the benefits?
Thanks.
