unfortunately.. if I cant curb his aggressiveness I may have to sale him and go with a smaller species.

took the dish away and gave him a flat one .. He looked up at me like I was taking away his best freind,turned around and proceeded to kick up at me :( He was confused by the flat dish but not so much he turned down food! :) he did however go for my hand since I took his dish. Sigh.

lately Willow has taken to trying to BITE or ram me whenever he can. he's been xtra crabby the last few weeks. He wanted to bite the camera here. I KNOW the enclosure is too small but I am saving to build him an outdoor one. crabby critter :(

One of the few times this guy is NOT humping his bedding or something else.. Light used is a mercury vapor and he also has an 18" tropiglow.

my male sulcata tort does this all the time.. ussually when 'excited' by his food dish! Sometimes it's a croak.. other times more like a quack or bark.. not to worry the noise is normal :)

Well i Discovered Willow is actually a MALE and not a female as I thought.. he decided to show himself a few times and has this bad habit of right as I am feeding him, Climb on his food dish and " hump" it while making squinty eyes and squeaky noises. he is only 2 yrs old and quite obsessed with...

willow is starting to walk with me outside.. he goes pretty fast for his size!

my 2 yr old sulcata tortoise eats like crazy when I play most sorts of music, especially pop or oldies :) even when fast asleep he will wake up and want food...

LOL I guess I mistyped that.. No I didn't mean literally cook the eggs.. I meant incubate them at a higher temp on purpose to make them males but I guess it's backwards of alligators. I thought you got females with cooler incubation and males with higher temps?
