Hey guys! I haven't been on her very much as I have been very busy with pairing snakes and beefing girls up for breeding. All my reptilian family is doing well and they're all enjoying the nice warm sunshine. My tortoises now have a summer home for grazing and lounging in the sun. They still...

I have nothing but good words to say about Lance.
I have one of his sulcata babies that I got about 4 months ago and I could not be happier with him. He's a very healthy little one and has always eaten and gained weight. Lance is a very reputable breeder and knows what he...
I know Atlanta is supposed to get it bad this time around. At least 1/2 inch of ice and widespread power outages for days. I know a guy that's been breeding ball pythons for a lot longer than me and he lives in Atlanta, called him up last night to make sure head his animals where doing okay. He...
I know a lot of members on this forum are people that have recently gotten their first tortoise, and a lot have had tortoises for years. The weather hitting the east coast right now has inspired me to create this post to help those with new tortoises be prepared for the cold weather and power...
Where I live we have a lot of steep mountain and we get 2x as much as town and if we lose ppower it's out for a while. Generators are fantastic where I live. :) kids having fun sledding while I sit in the nice warn reptile room and monitor temps.
Where I live we are supposed to get a foot and a half of snow. Because I live above the freeze line it is going to be heavy. I hate this weather but the kids love it.
Hi everyone, I'd like you to meet my new veiled chameleon Echo. I purchased him from another member on the forum and I am very pleased with how healthy and friendly he is. I owned a Jackson's chameleon for 16 years and she had to be out down last October due to a very aggressive cancer, I felt...
Yvonne, they look like pancakes to me by how flat they are. I've never seen a dessert tortoise though si maybe that's why they look so much like pancakes to me.
Re: RE: Can leopards and sulcatas be kept together?
This is just from what I have heard from a few people keeping sulcata groups. Not saying it's 100%, but in general it's better than keeping 2 or more males in the same pen or one male and one female together constantly. They are solitary...
Re: RE: Can leopards and sulcatas be kept together?
You are causing a lot of confusion. A lot of people on here are new tortoise owners trying to find the right way to keep tortoises and a lot of what you are saying is not the best conditions for an animal.
Like I have said before tortoises...
Gerbils e.e I despise having them in my household! Don't get me wrong I like them and they're cute, but my children went through the phase of I want a hamster, I want a chinchilla, I want a mouse, I want everything rodent. It was a horrible phase and they left mommy taking care of and loving...
Re: RE: Can leopards and sulcatas be kept together?
I'm referring to babies from that tortoise are likely to be in an environment shared by momma later on. A wild caught mother with anything can transmit it to babies, I mean they did come out of her! Not saying it's 100% but from experience...
