1 year on my Stanley has doubled his weight and doing well, ❤️

Well today is a year a go my dog stole my tort from his tort table, after big vet bills and a lot of love and care my Stanley has doubled his weight, yes he has war wounds but he's proved he is a shelled warrior ❤️

I'm from UK and haven't been told to change name just said certificate must always go with tortoise if rehomed etc

Only Hermanns in the UK have to be micro chipped, when I got Stanley he was already micro chipped and came with certificates

Believe me I freaked out lol but all is good now, big lesson learnt, tort table now has wire guard so my pesky gorgeous boxer doesn't think hey a chew that moves :o

Yea me too, he's really good eats well gaining weight, no vet thinks he's just gonna have war wounds other than that he is a healthy happy tort :)

It happened in October vet treatment stopped in February, Stanley is solid now tho

No he wasn't soft mouth with Stanley £500 vet bill later Stanley survived very lucky tort, blood,could see his insides his shell has permanent damage but what's a few war wounds Stanley is alive Ernie used to get in my fridge he is a monkey lol but I agree boxers are definitely people ❤️

Lol yea he is amazing but a naughty boy he stole my tortoise from his table

He's all repaired now, boxers have amazing personalities ❤️

Hi my dog did the same to mine, I'm from UK too, my vet advised iodine diluted everyday, after the initial antibiotics treatment and going to vets twice weekly Stanley is better now, he will always have war wounds but he is alive :)
