I'm taking him to Dr. Greek today at 3:45. There is no way he can wait another day or so he's doing terrible. Mucus coming out if his mouth head back and it sorta looks like he is grasping for air. He keeps his head to the right, almost like he doesn't have enough energy to keep it up. [hr] *gasping

Yvonne: what if I call my vet and refill his baytril, continue to soak, and raise his temps? I'm doing a lot of research on his symptoms and I believe he has a respiratory infection. The stuff he spit up is mucus I'm pretty sure. Is there anything else that you would suggest me doing for this?

Kathy; that's exactly who I am taking him to tomorrow. =) Yvonne; I've been reading that the carrot soaks help out a lot I'm going to try that ASAP. Hopefully he gets better soon, or shows some signs of improvement. He is very sluggish lately and he's never been like this since I got him.

So my RT has had an abscess problem (my other thread) for some time now. He has been perfectly fine through it all. Recently all activity has stopped and he has stopped eating. Hasn't ate for almost 3 weeks. His eyes are swollen shut and have a tad bit of leakage to them. It's a small tear hear...

As far as an update, his abscess is filling up again, he's eye is starting to get forced shut due to the pressure. He will be going to see Dr. Greek a herp vet very soon, hopefully he handles this issue better than the last vet did. =(

Yup, so sure enough, the abscess is starting to fill up again!!!! Is there anything I can do?? Why does this keep happening? I just can't leave it alone because the area where it is puts pressure on his eye and forces it shut!! Help, please help!!! :(

Ok guys, we have a set back! So apparently what I thought was healed was just a flap of skin that had dried and covered up the area. This morning I noticed that the flap was loose and pulled back and noticed that there was some pus around the area! I have a feeling it is filling up again...

Here's my little dude chilling after his soak and in a clean pad. 2 week post. Who says you need a doctor? A little bit of TLC works just fine!

A week and a half after the abscess came out.

So today marks one week since the abscess came off, updated photos will be posted shortly.

Hey guy's, I was wondering what you thought of Glenn's shell, how's it looking?

Glenn enjoying his time outside, road to recovery ... [hr] Basically a hot compress is getting a cotton ball/pad or something to hold moisture. Run it under hot water ring access water out and apply pressure to the area which needs hot compresses.

So it's been 4 days since this has happened here's some updated photos from today. He keeps getting better day by day. P.S the only thing the Vet did was prescribe antibiotics. Didn't really seem like they were working because the abscess just kept growing and growing, maybe the antibiotics...
