    Baby Flea or Tick?!

Yes, those are similar to what I was getting. It might also be an aphid. You can try mite guard by Nature zone and treat the substrate. It might take a couple of times of thorough cleaning to get all of them but if you treat everything (hide logs, decor and substrate) they should be gone in no...

    Russian disappeared for two weeks.

She was probably there but we looked everywhere. Under every bush, everything and nothing. Then one day, there she was like " are you going to pick me up or what?". Have not seen my fiance so happy to have our other "kid" back.

    Baby Flea or Tick?!

I was getting small bugs in my enclosures which I suspected came from the substrate. I got some anti-mite spray that is safe for reptiles and I sprayed every time I changed the substrate and in between changes. I was able to eliminate them completely. It is important to spray every corner before...

    picky russian tortoise

Our russian is picky also and it was my fault but I find if I just place a happy mix, she will eventually eat anything I put in front of her. Sometimes it takes all day but hunger eventually overcomes and she will eat it.

Can someone help me determine if its a girl or a boy

The plastron is a bit concave. As far as age, I am not sure. I have had her/him for about 2 years but was adopted after a divorced parent did not want it. I was confident it was a girl until looking again and then the pacing began. I started researching a little and now I am leaning towards...
