I found this tortoise in the La Sierra area of Riverside, CA not sure what species he is. Gave him bath. I'm actively looking for his owner. Hoping if I can figure out what kind he is it will help me identify his owner.
I'm curious how many choose/allow their tortoise/tortoises to hibernate, and how many do not. Also how everyone does it preferred methods etc

I found a large red ear slider in Riverside CA near LaSierra. Hoping someone is looking for it. If anyone nearby can foster/ take in til if and or when someone claims it would be very appreciated.

Thank you guys. I knew they were aggressive towards each other, been trying to keep them separated in their outdoor pen, unfortunately one made a tunnel under the wall. Back to the drawing board.

My little guy franklin got attacked pretty bad when he dug into my other tortoises pen. His legs are missing scales, bloody but no longer bleeding and a bit of a bite to his nostrils. They are Russians. Any advice how to treat him.
