Hi Jacqui, we looked at what would be the easiest for new tortoise owners and the best for our climate in the UK. It was between Hermanns, Horsfields, Marginated or Spur-thighed. Then I saw pictures of Hermanns and fell in love with them. :cool:

After years of wanting one, I finally got my first tortoise on Saturday. He (or she) is a 5 month old Hermanns called Georgie. He is so cute!
