Thanks again @Will for the leopards. They are doing good! All kept in identical setups, but growing at different rates, and some smoother than others. I love these guys!

My guess he had something else going on. Although it is possible one could kill another, stress would take a while to kill one unless it was already sick. Parasites/ disease would also take some time. I don't know your setup, but if you do have some together, I would quarantine them...
Yes it's possible for one tortoise to kill another. More commonly ways, they will flip one over. They can stress out each other from being together, and a stressed tortoise gets sick easier. They can also pass their illness/ parasites to another. They can wound another from bites/ ramming...
A picture would help me understand your setup. I have a few questions, is your air conditioning running/ heater in your house running? You have a closed chamber, I'm assuming that you have an oil heater running outside the enclosure. In a closed chamber enclosure, any outside humidity...
Notice the difference between the 2 pictures I posted. The biggest one that started to grow blonde is starting to grow dark again. Leopards are so cool.
I think tortoises are great pets. Once you provide everything that they need, they are fairly easy to care for. Cuddly would not be a word I'd use for tortoises though. I agree with most others here, finding one that has been cared for properly and healthy would be better than rescuing a sick...
