    Sulcata yearling

I am selling my sulcata. I got him a year ago as a hatchling from tortoise supply. His shell is very smooth, because I've raised him according to the information found here. I'm asking $150 plus shipping. If interested PM me your zip code and I'll let you know how much shipping will be.

Is it possible for a tortoise to kill another

My guess he had something else going on. Although it is possible one could kill another, stress would take a while to kill one unless it was already sick. Parasites/ disease would also take some time. I don't know your setup, but if you do have some together, I would quarantine them...

Is it possible for a tortoise to kill another

Yes it's possible for one tortoise to kill another. More commonly ways, they will flip one over. They can stress out each other from being together, and a stressed tortoise gets sick easier. They can also pass their illness/ parasites to another. They can wound another from bites/ ramming...

    Pop goes the Humidity

A picture would help me understand your setup. I have a few questions, is your air conditioning running/ heater in your house running? You have a closed chamber, I'm assuming that you have an oil heater running outside the enclosure. In a closed chamber enclosure, any outside humidity...

    Show us your Leopards!

Notice the difference between the 2 pictures I posted. The biggest one that started to grow blonde is starting to grow dark again. Leopards are so cool.

New Enclosure (always a work in progress)

I've been using these. They're cheap and I just put them in a small Rubbermaid container and fill with water.

Torn on which tortoise - healthy adoption or Craigslist rescue

I think tortoises are great pets. Once you provide everything that they need, they are fairly easy to care for. Cuddly would not be a word I'd use for tortoises though. I agree with most others here, finding one that has been cared for properly and healthy would be better than rescuing a sick...
