This might be a stupid question but,,about how long after breeding can you expect egg laying to begin. My redfoots started breeding in earnest last week. Hoping to see some nesting.

Does anyone keep these in Southern Florida? I'd like to get them but am unsure if they can handle the humidity down here.

During the week they are left to graze around the yard, but on the weekends, it's all about the fruit!

Found this guy while cleaning up some brush in the backyard. I have a mixture of reds and yellows that live freely in the backyard. I didn't think any of the red foots were old enough to breed and the yellows have not been around a male in over a year. I guess someone is an early starter.
