Awesome species I have been working with them for years . I remember at the NRBE in Daytona Beach I sold a guy a bunch of surplus males for $20 each he took all ten. My original female was on land last night I had her for 12 years the person I got her from had her for 14-15 years and she was an...
I only know of the Clearwater Chapter and the Orlando Chapter. I would love to see Florida get as many Chapters as California turtle and tortoise club.
Thanks,
Mark

Hey it is in the mid 90's here in FLA and hot with no rain it did rain the other day and all the wild gopher tortoises came out of the woods and started grazing. I rather be hot then cold any day.
I can take them all legally except the red -eared in Florida. I can not take it and it is illegal to ship them into Florida ,but you can ship albino red -ears into Florida.
If you would ship I would take her in Florida where all my Russians stay out all year. I have been working with them for twenty plus years. If you don't want to ship I recommend getting in touch with one of the Califorina Turtle and Tortoise Chapters they should be able to help.
Everyone is invited especially children . We are having our Annual Scavenger Hunt and we will be having our monthly raffle. If you are attending the Tampa Repticon Show on Saturday you should come over and join us for our Annual Scavenger Hunt you will have a great time. School is out so bring...
I would find out what they eat in their native habitat and try to feed that. Also, make sure the tortoises are health. No nasal discharge, runny stools etc. the last thing is re releasing a sick animal . Also, release it where they came from. Can you post some pictures so we can see what that...
I would keep the Egytians serparate from everyone else and even separate from each other. You said they are on antibiotics for what. Also, upper respiratory is very serious it can be airborne so it spreads very fast and easy. One species could live with it spread it to the rest of the herd and...
