I have got their table set up for them now, its a plasic one with the top half covered so this will keep the table humid. the substrate i will be useing is eco-earth & moss which will help contain the humidity, the diet really is no problem at all, grass & weeds...
yes thank you, i have been scanning the net regarding pyramiding, am totally aware that the darker one of mine is just starting to pyramid & i am going to try my hardest to slow it down, i can asure that it will be very well cared for with ideal conditions & diet, if the pyramiding still forms...

yes i was thinking eco-earth, i already use this for a number of my trogs/toads so always have this in the house & realise that it keeps the humity high, thank you for the confirm i think i will be useing this.

I would say that my house is always warm, its 74 at the moment without any heating on! but i will certainly check into it. also i will check these mercury vapor bulbs out, cheers

thank you very much for you help, i will certainly use cuttlebones, it seems to be a good source of Calcium & is quit easy to find over here. i will certainly be able to feed the grass & weeds, got plenty of them in the garden but Cactus might be a problem, dont find many of them in yorkshire...

it really does seem to be a problem, mine have already started to pyramid but i will do my very best to follow these instructions & try to curve the growing pattern, its doesnt bother me as long as i keep them healthy.
