Shamefully, I admit that this wouldn't be the first time I have gotten a little paranoid with the bugger  After the sneeze incident last night, I haven't seen or heard anything that would indicate a RI so maybe I was overly suspicious. I read a post a few days ago about a member loosing...
I think I may have a possible RI on my hands :(
I was giving my little sully hatchling has nightly soak and when I picked him up to start drying him off he sneezed, a clear liquid came out of his nose, and then he used his arm to brush at his nose. I know that the sneezing and runny nose can be...
I hope this isn't a silly question, but I have a Sulcata hatchling and he seems to like his food (grasses, weeds etc.) the best after it has sat out all day and has gotten dry and crunchy. If, for example, there are a few dry day old leaves that I missed from the day before and a heaping pile of...
Here you go Amber. Hope these help :)

I am so sorry :( I watched your thread on him from the first day, even before I actually became a member on this forum. Try not to be too hard on yourself, clearly you loved him and tried to give him the very best life.
Is he showing any signs of a reparatory infection? I'm by no means knowledgable enough to give out advice, but I do know that if you're working with high humidity and unstable/low night temperatures, it's a recipe for disaster.
And I think JoDee's suggestion is a good idea. I'm sure he is very...
I'm so sorry that your little one isn't doing well :( Definitely try to stabilize your temps. I'm sure the experts here will have lots of questions/answers for you. I'll say a prayer for Alfie!
My family and I are new to the tortoise game so we only have one baby Sulcata that my toddler named Seven
My husband and I found a way to love the name though because we are both huge Seinfeld fans and in the one episode, George tells Susan that he wants to name one of their future...
Hi guys. I just wanted to give a little update on Squirt, now named Seven (my toddler decided that his name should be Seven. What can ya do...) Seven has been increasingly active between his naps, but I still wasn't happy with his eating as he only nibbles here and there. I think he might be too...
Hey guys. I am shopping out for a mercury vapor bulb for my little guy and I was wondering if it matters at all which MVB I get? Does it have to be the Zoo Med Power Sun or can I pick up a bulb from Home Depot and it serve the same purpose?
Thanks!
I also use Eco Earth. It holds humidity well and doesn't mold when exposed to high levels of moisture (unlike the pellets).
And your little sully is adorable, by the way! :)
I am so relieved that you think so, Tom! Lance did warn me that his appetite may be a little off while he adjusts, but I can't help but worry. I will continue to monitor him closely though until...well...I'll probably always be like this :p
