Hi, I’m looking to rehome my little Greek tortoise, Captain Morgan. He is male, about 6 in in length, he does not dig or brumate. Good home is a must. Must know how to care for Greeks. I have inside and outside enclosures, if close to me.
I rescued my leopard last year. I was told he was 16 months at the time. He already had MBD, soft, sunken shell at the hips, could barely walk. Since I've had him he's done well. Although he still has some trouble with walking, he does get around, eats really well, and has grown some. I...
In this article, which is referenced a ton, it says Sulcatas/Leopards don't need special uv bulbs, just a time in the sun a couple of times a week. Also, he says that his basking bulb is a 65 watt bulb. So I don't need to buy special UVB bulbs...
I've got my indoor enclosure set up real nice for my little leopard. Temp is good, humidity is good. But now I have a gnat problem. How do I treat for gnats without hurt my tortoise?
He is on cypress mulch. His back legs do have strength, they just go out behind him. Hoping he will eventually go under him. As an update, he is doing well, eating, peeing and pooping, coming out of his shell more. Thank you!
Due to MBD, my baby leopard scoots when he walks. With proper treatment, will he walk normal eventually? He is about 16 months now.

Thank you! What is a CHE on a thermostat? I've covered his humid hide so it is dark, even though the infrared is on at night. uvb is a zoo med power sun, not a coil.
I've only got one thermometer, will have to get another for cool side. Warm side is in the 80s, with 50-80% humidity. UV bulb is a zoo med power sun 100 watts. Infra red is 75 watt. Thank you for your reply.
Hi, I'm new to the forum. I recently purchased a baby leopard from craigslist. (I'll say "he" as, of course it's too young to tell.) He is not in good shape. The owner cared for him, but not properly. Bad enclosure, bad substrate, only romaine lettuce, no calcium and no uvb bulb. I was not...
