I do it regularly with mine......just dig up the weeds they like to eat, plant in the enclosure, and replace as needed.....FREE!! LOL I also feed them in their dish, but I feel they are happier grazing.

Mine Leopard babies won't touch anything with calcium on it either, so when I soak their Mazuri pellets, I put liquid calcium in the soaking water. That way, the calcium is absorbed into the pellets.
