Yes I have two pieces of slate in the tank that i placed so he has to walk across at some point everyday because it's right between the CHE. And the log he sleeps in . I'll put a dab of the athletes foot cream on anyway . He's eating like a horse and really active also

There have always been marks right on those spots but it just is very white now ... It's not flaky or anything . I'm not sure what to do

I think the problem is where the heater is that's the only spot that is kind of open I used tin foil I'll fix it up again later .. Thanks

I have a closed chamber and still can get humidity to stay at 80 for that long .. Unless I use the fogger

I'm just curious as to what humidity an adult redfoot tortoise will need .. I know th younger ones need high humidity .. My tortoise seems to be okay at about 65% .. What will will the humidity have to be when he's an adult

Hello I'm thinking of transferring my redfoot ( who's about 2 years old and maybe 4.5 inches into an area that is 6 feet by 20 inches .. I'm wondering if I can fit another tortoise or two in the for a while .. I know not to keep them in pairs but can 3 work .. Thanks

hello I have a redfoot tortoise and was planning on getting a leopard as well . I have a second enclosure it is 6ft by -2feet ( 20 inches ) .. How many can live in there without issues .. I know that it's not goo to keep them in pairs but is 3 small ones okay for a while ?

I have a ceramic heater for my red foot tortoise ... I can definitely buy a UVB eventually .. But this would be very short term to go outside every other day for an hour or so .. The heating lamp is no problem ... How should the humidity be
