Yes it is a shame I don't have him anymore! Makes me so sad... :( I had to re home all of my reptiles when hubby got out of the military. We lived with my in laws for a few months before we got back on our own feet. They would not allow any reptiles in the house.

Borax and salt work miracles! I leave it in the carpet and bare floor for about 3 hours before I vacuum it up. Our house was sooo covered with fleas, it was crazy! Even called the exterminator and they couldn't rid the fleas, and we still had to pay! Borax and salt, is cheap and it WORKS!

Thank you Yvonne, I've talked to Bonnie the Founder of Va. reptile rescue, they do not have any in at the moment. As for adopting fromm Long Island, I'm not sure if I can afford shipping on Large animals. That would be really expensive. :) Thank you for the attempt.[hr] Oh wait, I keep...

He is such a cutie pie! So glad you save him from the birds, but most of all, glad you saved him from road kill. I'm sure it would've been road kill before he can make it across the street.

I would even go out and pick clovers and dandelions for him! LOL Now, I just pick them for my guinea pig... I enjoy picking them for my animals. :) Can't wait till spring when everything pops out and ready for the picking!

I am wondering if a box turtle can have cuttle bones? I know the water turtles can, but not sure about how to file down my box turtles beak. Any suggestions???
