Adding gas struts is almost a must for the larger boxes. Even if one can lift the lid, theres no point in making it harder than it needs to be. Here's a thread showing a lid with the gas struts (springs). You might need bigger than used here since your box is bigger...
Not to harp on about the Mazuri, but here's a thread from a while back where a member shared the growth his sulcata had after just a month on Mazuri.

No one that has the most basic understanding of the electrical system in the United States would need to Google to know what I have written. That there are 3 separate interconnects (grids) is about as simple as it gets. Eastern, Western, and Texas. There are limited connections between them. The...
This is nonsensical. idk where you heard it, but thats not how it works. Electricity isn't sold and sent county to county. California and Illinois are on separate grids. Maybe its possible to buy 'offset' power, but I doubt theres any actual electricity being sent from Illinois to California.
2007. You are unaware of federal energy policies going back to 2007.
The 'market forces' that lowered LED prices was that incandescent were going to be phased out and the demand for LED was increasing/going to increase. If incandescents had continued to be manufactured, its likely that LED...

The basking and UVB bulbs should be next to each other on 1 end. The LED can be in center or slightly towards the non-basking side.
This might help. It should be easier once the clip is mounted.
Yes, this specific light is made for direct wire. The point was that significantly more 40+ year old people in UK would know how to wire a plug onto a cord than in USA or most other countries.

I think appliances in UK used to come standard without plugs on them and that it was taught in schools, so an older person could probably put the plug on for you without having to get an electrician.
Those hooks should work.
Don't allow that 8x4 minimum nonsense into your head. Its not a 'rule,' its just an opinion. A lot can be done with 7x4 if thats what you have to work with. I would take a thoughtfully designed smaller enclosure over something thats just trying to hit certain parameters.
