Thanks, Panzer is growing really fast with a nice smooth shell. He's thriving.

    New habitat and remodels

Yep. I chose the name because of that reason. :) [hr] Yeah I'm still working on Panzers temporary inside home. He still gets his 2 soaks a day with plenty of heat. There's a 100w Che under there. And it's mounted safely. :)

    Redfoot hatchlings

The one on the left hatched 3 weeks ago. The one on the right hatched Thursday. I'm amazed at how fast they grow! They're thriving! http://s1076.photobucket.com/albums/w454/gearjammer40/?action=view&current=photo-17.jpg

    Redfoot hatchling help

Yeah if I can just find a way to keep the humidity level up. I might go to Walgreens and get one if those cheap humidifiers that I can run PVC off of, and run it inside the enclosure.

Thanks. Yeah one had hatched but the other 2 haven't pipped yet. Hopefully they will soon. :) On Sept 10, the same female laid another 3 eggs and I have them in the incubator as well. Now just waiting on her to lay another clutch. She's overdue. Lol Oh I'm going to post pics soon. :)

Thank you do much for the info JD! Should I go with a terrarium type set up for him and is the best substrate for him peat moss or something else?

    Redfoot hatchling help

Hey everyone! We just hatched our first baby and now waiting on the other 2 eggs to hatch. The baby is completely out of his egg shell and is walking all over the place in the incubator. My question is where do I go from here? [hr] Do I take him out and put him in a separate enclosure or do I...

    Time between clutches

She laid 3 pretty white eggs. Same as the last time. She did great!

    Time between clutches

So far so good. They're really white and looking good. I candled one of the eggs last night and the bottom of the egg had a darker tint to it and you could see some pink inside. I'm assuming they're where they need to be. I least I hope. :)

    Time between clutches

Lol that's what I was thinking. Maybe I need to post my concerns from now on at the 30 day mark. As for the question of this is her first round or not, I couldn't tell you. I adopted her about 5 months ago and the guy I got her from didn't have any clue as to whether she's laid before or not...

    Time between clutches

Thanks Big Red. I have a very large enclosure for her with some very good places for her to nest. She's just been being stubborn I guess. Lol. Hopefully she will be on a shorter track this time. :)

Nerve wrecking isn't it? Lol[hr] I know my alpha male isn't liking being separated from the herd at all. I'll put him back in in a couple of days. :)
