No it specifically says eastern, Florida, gulf coast and three toed. They don’t prohibit non native species unless they’re dangerous to people.

I am aware. Are you aware there are other box turtles not native to Georgia?

Do box turtles have to aestivate or is it as needed? And is every breed that aestivates or brumates the same on this matter?

So my mother in law has a pond behind her house, and the turtles from the pond love her garden. Once a year I have to relocate at least one. I’ve moved a small snapping turtle, a hatchling wood turtle(I think) and this one. Does anyone know what breed it is?

Why not just line the box with thick plastic or pond liner?

I’ve noticed they communicate in different ways. Like A lot of bullying is non aggressive body language.
