    I was looking for 2 of my females and instead i found these. They feel fresh, and i candled them and there is a yolk-ish looking thing on the top sides. i kept them in the position i found them. They are in the reptile incubator right now.

    Kudos to Walmart

    I still have Betty indoors until spring, and the others are hibernating. Have not been able to find affordable earthworms (Canadian Nightcrawlers) online, But Walmart has them 18 for $2.98. Betty was so happy to get an earthworm!

    Vitasol help

    My new girl might have a vitamin A deficiency, her eyes have been a bit puffy. She is not showing signs of respiratory infection, altho i am keeping an eye on her. I soak her every other day. I was hoping to try the Vitasol soak., but not sure how much is used. Can anyone guide me?

    some Sad news

    Ilene, the three legged turtle passed away today. IDK why. She seemed to be getting better after she saw the vet. We are so grateful to everyone who offered support for her care 2 years ago, and to everyone who followed her story. We tried our best to make her a happy and healthy turtle.

    3 came up

    i found 3 out of my 4 turtles today. I gave them a good soak in lukewarm water and let them go back out in a sunny spot. It is still cool out, and i suspect they might go back under.
