How's Tuscon Kid? Miss him (and his stories) already
I heard stories how Galaps are a lot more aggressive when compared to Aldabra. A couple of Aldabras kept together with Galaps were bitten and things like that. Kinda hard to believe.. yours seem to be very gentle especially Tuscon Kid.
Just happen to find this thread! Amazing, very informative and wonderful pictures and videos!! Absolutely love this.
Whats' current PM temperature there? Would you worry that overnight sleeping in water/mud will make these giants sick?
My IP address has been banned (I think because I went to China and opened TFO) and I just tried a new VPN that finally works. Love your post Sam, as always!! Hope you’ll have an even better hatching season this year!
Hard to see the white fungus here. She looks ok to me. Just dry and maybe a little dirty. Did you use the vet formula on her? Wonder what’s the ingredients.. If I know the ingredients, I may get it from my local vet here..
Wonderful Greg!
Did you use the Lamisil ointment on this female? Last picture have shown so much improvement. Probably now people can’t tell that she had had that rot before.
Off the topic, does anyone have issues using this forum? I was in the middle of replying people in this thread when...
I live in Indonesia. I find it weird that Lamisil that Greg recommended costs so much here. Well, not the same brand actually, but the ingredients is the same. Medicines are a lot cheaper here. But dunno why that antifungal cream is so expensive..
Unfortunately the athletes foot ointment that greg @ALDABRAMAN recommended (in his prior post) cost almost $5 here. I hope the coconut oil works so I don’t have to spend a fortune on a dozen tubes of this ointment for an aldabra this size.. thanks @ZEROPILOT
Wonderful post! Thank you for your time. Will surely try putting on some cold pressed coconut oil or maybe petroleum jelly. How many times a day? And how long did you apply those until you see any improvement?
Thanks again

I have difficulties signing in to this forum from a phone that I used when I travelled to Hong Kong and China. It keeps saying that my ip address has been banned. Can you please help me? Thanks yvonne
Hi guys,
I wonder if you guys can help me out determining this male aldabra's shell rot condition. I’m thinking about buying this male aldabra as he is up for sale. Apparently he's been left neglected for quite some time and I’m worried that the shell is permanently damaged and will hinder him...
I mean of course it’s ok for aldabra. If it’s not ok you wouldn’t have fed them these. I meant to ask if these starfruit actually good for aldabra.. low sugar and high water content, it sounds perfect!
