Try adding timothy hay, soak it in water and add to their diet. Maybe they’re looking for something more fibrous? Mine doesnt touch the coir anymore. After providing a balanced meal.
I think you should listen to the vet. The high humidity we recommend is mostly to avoid pyramiding, we wouldnt want the lil one to have any respiratory problems. A humid hide is good enough. Im glad that cyclone is getting better. Once he’s all better you can adjust the humidity again.
I use coconut cour as well. Ive seen them nibble at it. Not eat, i think they’re trying to get the Water from it. But if u see them actually eat it, i would recommend the orchid bark or reptibark. Them eating the coir could cause impaction.
Welcome! Here’s my story. Im currently caring for 3 leos. And my goal is to eventually own adult leos and burmese stars, but since that kind of star sells for atleast 1k each im gonna go middle first with sri lankan star. But my leos are still babies! I wanna focus on them first till they’re old...
Im currently keeping 3 leos together. It promotes competition which makes them eat when the other is eating. That being said, they are only 3 months old and ive been informed that once they are bigger i would need to separate. Also on top of that while i keep them together i lrovide enough room...

This forum is great. The shared experience and knowledge proves to prevent mistakes that happened with the more experienced if the advice is followed. BUT..... i have seen some of you in another thread basically bully this kid into returning his tort. Yes i know that he didn’t know what he got...
