In my area we do have some tough storms at times. Yesturday my power was off half the day and half the night I kept the enclosure covered to keep the heat in best I could. But I want to be better prepared for when it happens again. Any advice?

Got my little one yesterday on Valentines day. He/she stays in 2 places basking or hiding. I was pretty excited when he/she ate from my hand. So going to leave him alone today so he/she can get comfortable in the new home.

This is the start of the enclosure for my very first Hermann tortoise. I do have cypress mulch its just not in the picture. My question is the top would this work for covering half? Just want to make sure everything is perfect before he/she arrives.

Hello I'm new and I'm looking to get a cherry head I can't find much info on them and I was wondering if it would be ok to keep him indoors. I will take him out on warm days but being in West Virginia I can't keep a tortoise outside. Also, is cherry head care just like redfoot tortoise?
