So guys, Yesterday I recieved my adult russian tortoise in the mail. When i took him out he was happy and very active, and he still is. But I noticed whenever I am in his sight, he doesn't want to move and gets very scared. Is this normal for a russian and does this occur more in wild caught...
Sorry guys, just wanted to put this out there, my hatchling Hermanns tortoise named Tuba has recently passed away last night. I just felt like I should say something.
So, recently, i took my baby hermanns tortoise outside to enjoy the sun while soaking. When I dried him off, i noticed while he was breathing through his nose, i could see some little bubbles that would go in and out. Is he sick, or is this normal. And what could have caused this to happen?
