2 quick questions:

I'm in the process of building an indoor habitat, that will have growing grasses and plants in it. In order to keep the plants healthy, I'll need a grow light. This wouldn't harm the tort would it?

Also, I have an outdoor habitat as well. The plan is to bring my tort out during the day, and in the evenings bring him to the indoor habitiat where we can enjoy his company. So my second question is, if he's outside during the day, should I still provide him with a UVA/UVB bulb?

Thanks guys!

I am not sure about the grow light. I grow grass and weeds in my torts enclosure and it grows pretty good with just the MVB. If your torts get sun during the day, while outside, you don't have to have UVA/UVB inside.

We use a grow light over our enclosures along with a few other types. Doesn't harm them.
