The first 2 shown are from a female hatched here in 2005..



Note the solid-color EYEBROWS on this one..



And our star female SONshine that has made babies this color with all these head patterns since 2005..



I could have wet them down to show all those colors............ you get the idea...

what does the F2 mean? i've seen people use that for a certain location they think the species is from like Guyana red or Suriname red etc

First of all that means.. as stated - from a hatchling that grew up to make hatchlings. The first 2 hatched from eggs laid by a female that was raised from a hatchling [ it hatched here in 2005 ] -- F2 are 2nd generation hatchlings.

Actually the grandmother was raised from one of three hatchlings I acquired in December of 1998! Which means I've raised redfoot tortoises for over 17 years.

Second.. F2 has nothing to do with 'locale' - the country they originate from.

Pictured is their cousin/half-cousin(?) from 2005..
