Hello,
I am so excited to be getting my 3-toed box turtle on Thursday!!!
I had one years ago but, when I got her, she was around 6yrs old....this one, whom I will be calling Willow, is only 9 months old.
I have:
-enclosure that is 36in(L)x18in(D)x18in(H)
-a long UVB light
-heat sources (What should temps be?)
-humidifier (how humid?)
-hides
-water dish
-live plants/grass
-organic soil/sphagnum moss (how deep?)

I keep my baby box turtles in potting soil mixed with small grade orchid bark, and I keep it very wet. There are plants, many plants so there's lots of cover for the babies. I use the plastic lid off a Pringles can for water and a small 4" ceramic tile as a feeder. The temperature for my baby box turtles is always 80-85F degrees, day and night.

I've never found the need of a humidifier. I keep the enclosure covered and wet and it's always humid in there.
