A few odds and ends from early summer...

One of summer's delights... fresh strawberries!

This was while I was revamping their water pool, I was just so happy to see these guys had survived another year and were blooming for me. It's the little things in life.

I just love all the colors and combos hostas come in so I use them in all the enclosures.

Mustn't let an overhanging branch go to waste!

I like the Hostas too. Did you know, when the flowers die, and you cut off that stem thing the flowers are on, they will bloom again? I didn't know this, but my parents did just that this summer and they bloomed again. I am going to try it next year.
Love the use of the branch. Everything looks really nice.

No I didn'tknow that. Of course I am usually too lazy to mess with them. Len saves their seeds and grows them. Me, I just buy the small ones on clearance.
