I have been doing about the same.......Just hoping that they it it this winter when there is nothing else.I just spread them out on a piece of cardboard and leave them to dry for about a week.

Anyone else wanna bite the bullet?Mine eats the pistol first too, then the petals. He usually leaves the ovary and calyx part.
Dozer is a maniac for hibiscus. He wipes em out. Never leaves a bit. He eats them right off the bushes. Along with his roses and grape leaves.Yup, one of my Redfoots, Tonks, rips at the pistil like it’s a Black Friday deal. The other, Talula, ignores them altogether.
I pick them while they're still on the bush.do you harvest them while they are still on the bush or do you wait for them to fall?
