Added a small "pond" to my EBT enclosure. Dug 10 inches down, filled with sand, put pond on top, filled filter stopper with sand, threw in some rocks for them to use to climb out. I fill it up each morning, takes about 4-5 hours for it to completely drain. Sun dries the sand out in afternoon to prevent slim. They seem to enjoy fresh water daily.

Your turtles will love it. Mine love the pond and go in all the time. I put some river rocks in the pond to make it more shallow. I put a water plant in there too. That helps keep it clean. I don't have a filter but every couple of days I just lay the hose in there and let it over flow until it's clean again.

I was always cleaning out the filter and it was a pain, so I got rid of it. This is much easier, and the water (with any poop in it) is great fertilizer for the plants in the garden.
