Today in about 6 hours we're adding a new Sulcata to our family.
Tia will be joining us. Unlike Tank our big boy, Tia is a little one around 4 inches.
The lady I'm getting her from has had her almost a year. She was a rescue.
She estimates her to be 2 or 3 yrs old, but truly no way of telling. Says she was .3 lbs when she get her and in a year is now
1/2 lb. ( approx 220 to 240 grams) Isn't that small for a2 to 3 y/o? We've only seen her in pictures.
No matter, we're really excited and thrilled.
Also wanted to ask about quarantine for new torts coming to the home?
Tank is outdoors, this one will be inside and we have a Hermann's
and a Russian inside. I'm quite conscientious about hand washing before
and after handling my torts. Any other considerations I need to be
thinking of? Different rooms?
How old will she (or he) need to be before I can tell what it is?
