I've started constructing a new pin for Penelope and Tuukka. Im tearing up our flower bed and im wrapping it around the house towards the back. it's coming along, got everything tore up and ready for the next step, but we're supposed to get some pretty nasty storms the next few days here in upstate SC. So I probably won't get to work on it again til this weekend since I'll be doing a 48 hour shift Thursday. But that'll give me plenty of time to plan out a few more details. Im wanting to use this "grazing tortoise seed mix" at Carolina Pet Supply. 1st question is will that seed mix grow in shade? Most of the area on the side of the house is shaded. If it doesn't, what should I grow in the shaded area? And any other plants to grow in it im stuck on. What plants are best to grow in an outdoor pin?
Here's the seed mix link

Thanks in advance!

I have used that seed mix several times. Yes, it grows in the shade. But I have a question, while the seed mix will grow in the shade, your tortoise needs sun, is he gonna be stuck in the shade too?

No, the part of the pin where the flower bed used to be gets sunlight most of the day. From sunrise til about 330-4 pm.
