Aldabras in Russia

Just found it. Since aldabras are CITES 2 only export permission required, no need to have import permission.

Are you residing in Moscow now? Frankly speaking I'm not happy with Russian beaurocracy either. sounds funny, but I'm almost sure that it's easier to import something to Russia then to export. We'll see how does it work, if I get success I might help you. So I believe that you interested to import /export something from Russia?

I visited with my wife's family in 2011 and 2012 in Moscow (great city as a tourist). They all live here now in southern California with me. I had hoped to bring back some north African Testudo that were available in the Bird Market. But I am not willing to create a criminal record for myself in the off chance I might get caught. I'm perfectly willing to go the legal route when there is one that functions. To bad so many jerks get into the positions that offer a potential to abide the law.
