So I bought an Aloe plant. I feed a piece to my one russian and she tore it to shreds. So is aloe good to feed to all torts?

I only use Aloe if the tortoise is slightly constipated.

I have fed my russians and sulc aloe for years and never noticed any side effects, they only get it about once a week or so.

Nelson has only had aloe about three times in the 9-months I have had him (and then the plant died :p no green thumb here, that's for sure!) but he LOVED it!! Of course, he seems to love everything, but still :p

My Thor is the opposite, he won't eat it and mine is getting HUGE. About 20 large stems now and when I bought it, it had only maybe 6-7 stems that were small.

I only water it once a week and it seems to do great.
