Another Opinion on Sulcata Gender

Hey guys. Last year I had made a post asking if you guys had an idea on Sincys sex but I wanted to make another post now since he is almost 4yrs old. I decided to ask again because the more I look at him the more I second guess myself on which he is leaning toward. I have attached plenty of pictures.

To me it looks as if he may be concave which I thought is a pretty big sign of him being male but he has such a small tail and other possible female signs.

Hopefully the pics are uploading but what are your thoughts? Still male?

Still too young. Not showing any of the dimorphic traits yet. Some of them have to reach nearly 16 inches before you can tell.

Ya I just wasn’t sure yet. Do females show any concave shape or indentation at all in that area even at a young age? I had forgotten to add this picture to show a different perspective on the “concave” aspect. His shell measures 13in exactly this year.

Do females show any concave shape or indentation at all in that area even at a young age?
Yes. Many females have those small bulges like that right in front of the back legs. Makes it easier to carry them with their back up against your torso when they get bigger and you have to move them. Little hand-holds, as it were.
